Why this money, why now
The first money is the hardest — and it is the money that starts everything.
Grants want an operating history. Insurance pays only after you have treated someone. The support that sustains a clinic arrives once it is already running — which means somebody has to believe in it before any of that is true. $450,000 is what carries us from a 501(c)(3) on paper to an open door on July 1, 2027.
So an early gift does more than its number suggests. It is not topping up something that already exists — it is the reason there will be anything here at all, and it tells the next person who considers giving that this community showed up first. Here is what it builds.

The Monarch Circle · founding window 2026–2028

There is a moment that only happens once: before an organization exists in the eyes of its community. People who join now get something no one who joins later ever can — a genuine claim to having built this from the ground up.
The Monarch Circle is our founding-era partnership structure. It is a capitalization ask, not an operating one — building the foundation once, and building it well, rather than asking again each year for the same recurring costs.
It exists only for this window. Afterward it is preserved permanently as our founding generation, distinct from any annual giving society we build once we are established.
